Ingredients
- 2 cups (one can) of garbanzo beans, drained
- Cilantro to taste (or others, e.g. parsley, sundried tomatoes, roasted red bell peppers)
- 2 Tablespoon of tahini (sesame paste)
- 2+ clove garlic
- 1+ green chilies
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 Tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Place chopped chilies, cilantro (or other flavor) and garlic in food processor and grind.
- Add the garbanzo beans and grind, adding a little water as necessary.
- Add tahini and blend until smooth.
- Add lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a food processor.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Transfer hummus to small bowl, cover and chill until you are ready to serve.
